Treatments

Ayurveda is based on the theory of Tridosha and Panchamahabhuta. A balanced state of the tridoshas namely Vatha, Pitha and Kapha is essential for the normal functioning of the body. Dietary factors, life style variations, stress, over medication, hereditary factors, environmental pollution etc lead to the vitiation of the tridoshas. This in turn affects the vital internal organs. The decreased or deranged functioning of the internal organs causes accumulation of impurities in the blood that is reflected as various pathological conditions.
The treatment is planned according to the stage of vitiateddoshas, chronicity and intensity of the disease etc. The modalities areSHODHANA,SHAMANA andRASAYANAwhich ultimately aim at purification of the body, balancing oftridoshas, rectification of the functioning of internal organs and repair of damaged tissues.Ayurveda not only alleviates the disease but also prevents serious complications and recurrence of the disease.
