People all over the world head towards India not only because we have rich varied heritage but also they are seriously in love with Ayurveda. The status of Ayurveda is so high that even the Allopathic medicine manufacturers have confessed the true effect of Ayurveda and Allopathy. That is, Allopathy has many side effects whereas Ayurveda does not have it. Also, the major difference between Ayurveda and Allopathy is that only the cause of the disease is treated by Allopathy. At the same time, Ayurveda treats the entire functioning of the body, even if the patient shows just one symptom of a particular disease. There are many Ayurvedic centers mushrooming in our country and it is quite difficult for each one of us to find out the trustworthy clinic. In order to discover the reliable center, it is better to check through the testimonials of people who had received service from the concerned clinic. Amrita Ayurveda Medical Centre, Tripunithura run under the guidance of Dr. R. S. Roy loves to give away to the patients the excellent services like ayurvedic therapy in India possible.

The Three Ayurvedic Treatments

It literally means purification of the human body. The toxins are all removed from the body so that the disease can be healed very easily and prevented to the maximum level. Although it is too time-consuming, Ayurveda doctors recommend this treatment because the benefits are too much. There needs to be a balance among the three doshas such as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The treatment method of Shodhana is of three stages like Purva Karma, Pradhana Karma, and Paschath Karma.

Panchakarma is another name for Shodhana. The sequential procedures found in Panchakarma are Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Raktamoksha and Vasthi.

This treatment is carried out right after Shodhana. The very minute disproportion of doshas is treated here. Herbal medications are given to the patient through this treatment. Ayurvedic medicines used for the treatment are Asavas and Arishtas, Choornas, Kashayas, Lehyas, Pills or Vati, Ghritam, Bhasmas and Sindooras. They can be consumed directly. Oil, called Moordhathaila is used for the applying on the body for having a healthy well being. Thakradhara also comes under the treatment of Shamana as an effective solution for psoriasis and fatigue.

This is a rejuvenating therapy through which a healthy body can be well maintained. Prevention of ageing, making the body fit and fiddle, reducing stress etc are a few wonders Rasayana promises to offer. Herbal ingredients mixed with copper, clay and iron vessels are used to make Rasayana. The fluid termed ‘Rasa’ that comes out from the digestion is made to sustain in the body via Rasayana treatment. Rasayanas are normally classified into three: Naimittika Rasayana, Ajasrika Rasayana, and Kamya Rasayana.

Ayurveda is ignored by many these days pointing out the long duration of the healing process. But an individual knowing the benefits of Ayurveda would not prefer staying away from it because modern medicine, sometimes fails in front of Ayurvedic practices including Ayurveda dosha treatments in Kerala.
